I am convinced that the majority of download sites out there exist solely to irritate people. Their "download" sections contain nothing but links to other sites, but no downloads. I ask them, in an open letter, WTF? Why are there no downloads on a very visibly and plainly titled download page? Why are there only links?

Remember a few years back (well, a lot of years back) when the internet was first getting big? When they said everything would be easy? How Microsoft still claims this with their IE browser (not to mention AOL/Time Warner/Netscape's Netscape browser)? And has anyone else realised how much Netscape 6 sucks ass?

In conclusion, if you are going to create a download page, then put downloads on the frickin' page.
