For some reason, either I forgot to finish uploading some stuff I finished a month or so ago, or something weird happened on the webserver. But I've uploaded everything now, a bunch of little changes. Also, Google ads.

One new addition to the site: a guide to coffee and baristas. As this is a rant, expect at least 95% of it to be exaggerated hyperbole. The remaining 5% (aka "the truth") is up to the reader to discover. I'll be adding to this as I go. Oh yes, I got a new job. Now I'm a waiter. W00t.

Actually, there's more new stuff on the site, but it won't be unveiled yet.

Oh yeah, Happy New Year, Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, and since I know I'm going to miss it, Happy Valentine's Day, Happy Easter, and Happy First Day of Summer.

Two new additions to the Art section, thumbnails coming soon: The might and the majesty of the mighty and majestic AQUADAQUACK.

Nothing to see here. Finally getting off my arse and doing something with the site. Well, no, that's a lie. Minor changes: updated the offline version of the mobprog guide (this has been done for a month and a half or so now, I just never announced it), no more Misc. section at all, just a Recipe section, which I hope to be updating a lot in the next few days.

Lots of stuff has happened between June and now, but it's too much to get into. Suffice it to say that life is looking a lot better and more interesting now, and the old tricks that used to keep me entertained just aren't working as well. Escaping the real world just doesn't have the same appeal when there is so much of it to enjoy with someone. Anyway, this isn't a blog and you probably don't particularly care about this, and if you do care about it you already know where my blog is, and if you don't know then I'm probably not comfortable enough with you to share, so I'll shut up now.

Minor for most everyone but Lynx users: I've started to modify the pages to be more Lynx-friendly. You won't see it unless you are using Lynx, but if you are, pages should be easier to navigate. If you're using Lynx and you don't like the change (haven't applied it to all pages, but this is one of them), please let me know.

Have finally gotten off my arse to create the rogue-like page, which is replacing the never-made pages for NetHack and ADoM in the Games section. I'd add more games, but I'm not really playing any besides NetHack, Angband and Morrowind.

Any thoughts on a version of the mobprog guide in a format similar to Windows Help? I've seen it used for a few other tutorials, and it's quite nice as far as Windows goes, so I'm considering creating one. If you'd like to see one, please let me know.

Minor update to recipes: tempeh reuben. And cleaned off a bunch of old news items from this front page.

Also, hi Robert.

I've replaced the usual update with Folger's Crystals. Let's see if I notice.

What do you know - it's been a month and a half. Maybe that's my web-update cycle after the initial frenzy of updating and converting pages. This update brings more recipes, three of them: guacamole, sangria and the great egg-and-potato-and-cheese burrito. Also, with spring here and summer coming, this is a perfect time to start cooking with real fresh ingredients. It's also a good time to mention that you can eat the following flowers: nasturtiums, red clover and broccoli. People look at me crazy when I mention I like to eat flowers, I don't know why. They're good to eat. Nasturtiums taste like radishes, a little (perfect for salads). And red clover has a very refreshing sort of taste - clean and crisp. Broccoli - well, we know what that tastes like. It tastes like broccoli. Anyway, before I start going off about edible flowers some more, check out this website for all your flower-eating needs, including pictures of said flowers and recipes with them.

Sorry that I don't have anything more substantial for you this time - I've been having More Computer Problems. I think it's the onboard SATA and RAID controllers, so I'm going to test this with a PCI SATA-ready RAID controller on Monday, when I get a chance to go to Intrex. In the meanwhile, I've hooked up my old IDE hard drive, which I have kept with a Windows install and some basic fun and useful programs (NetHack, Mozilla, nearly a gig of music, etc.) in case of an emergency. Also, my birthday has come and gone (March 8), so feel free to send money and such. My birthday present to me was an AMD Athlon XP 2800+, and a 400W power supply (with 180mm fan - it's huge) that I bought to fuel my box's ever-growing need for juice. That is all, I hope to update more often, as usual, but we'll see if that happens. A month and a half from now would be around the beginning of May ... let's watch.
